Poutine for @DaveKnowsPDX – we joined the line out the door that apparently is always at La Banquise in Montreal, open 24 hours, serving 25 different kinds of poutine. It did not disappoint.

Andy and Lynda are still in Montreal, and send me this lovely example of fast food poutine. The fine example above is from a chain called Deso.

Note the most excellent gravy dripping down the side of the styrofoam bowl and the bonus mayonnaises!

Andy tells me most of the cheese was on the bottom of the container.
